Connecting Heart to Service: FFCC and Dream Dinners Announce 2017 Fight Against Hunger Event Dates

At Dream Dinners, part of our broader mission is to educate the next generation to actively impact communities locally and globally. Through our partnership with the Friends & Family Community Connection (FFCC), we’ve been able to co-host several Fight Against Hunger meal packaging events throughout the US to combat food insecurity here and abroad. These events bring communities together in support of a singular mission: to “feed a need” in the community by giving back to those who need it most.

We strongly believe that everyone has something to contribute and learn. Whether volunteers are 4 or 94, they will come away knowing they have made a tangible impact.

In 2017, we’re excited to build on and continue this mission. This year we’ll have high schools, and several new franchises and locations participating. Additionally, we’re pleased to report that two Dream Dinners franchises, Pearland, TX and Wheat Ridge, CO will host events again this year.

The impact of these events is wide reaching. After a few hours of work, we’ll be able provide nutritious, non-perishable meals to the local communities our Dream Dinners serve, as well as communities abroad facing food insecurity as a result of poverty or natural disaster.
